The owner of this Woodburn cottage made things. Quilts, furniture, birdhouses, you name it. She also gardened like it was her job, which for a while it was. The house is small but packed.

What to expect

The spare bedroom is a quilting studio with a Bernina sewing machine, a cutting table, and bins of fabric sorted by color. Finished quilts are folded in every closet. The living room has two rocking chairs and a side table the owner built from reclaimed barn wood. The yard has raised beds, a greenhouse frame, and enough terra cotta pots to start a nursery. Inside, there's folk art on the walls, hand-painted signs, and a shelf of canning cookbooks with notes in the margins.
